Lizzie Madden joins Hobbs Group Advisors as client services associate

Elizabeth Madden, a recent graduate of Converse University, has joined Hobbs Group Advisors as a client services associate.

Hobbs Group Advisors, LLC, a financial planning and wealth management firm, is affiliated with The Hobbs Group, PA, a full-service Certified Public Accounting firm located in Columbia, Greenville & Sumter, S.C.

Lizzie Madden is originally from Blythewood. She received her bachelor’s degree in May from Converse University in Spartanburg, graduating with a double major in child and family studies and business administration, with a concentration in marketing. She maintained a grade-point average of 3.6. She was a member of the school’s women’s golf team, and last year was named the Converse Female Breakout Athlete of the Year.

She worked for Hobbs Group Advisors for two years as an intern while in college, and is excited to embark on her permanent position with the company. She loves working with the company, explaining that it is because of “the people – definitely the people and atmosphere – and the comfortable environment. Everyone is very helpful and very welcoming” to fellow workers as well as clients.

As she begins, she is studying for the Series 65 test to be certified to fully handle clients’ accounts, and aims to become licensed as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™.

“We already know what a dedicated, helpful worker Lizzie is from her time as our intern,” said Peter Pigeon, CEO and co-founder of Hobbs Group Advisors. “It’s wonderful to have her with us permanently. She will certainly be of tremendous value to every client she encounters.”

About Hobbs Group Advisors LLC

This firm was born of necessity when tax clients of The Hobbs Group, PA, consistently asked their CPAs for investment and financial planning advice, finding they trusted their CPAs more than the investment advisors they had encountered. Peter Pigeon and Mark Hobbs formed Hobbs Group Advisors, LLC, in 2006 to fill that void. Our goal remains to offer reliable, customer-focused, and unbiased financial advice. Hobbs Group Advisors did not pay to be on this list, nor did we know we were included until Garet Strange was reading a blog post from another firm, and came across our name. We are honored to be included, along with many other reputable firms across the country.
